For many people, a voice on the phone at the District Office is their first contact with A.A. They want to know what they can do about where their life has taken them. There are also calls from out of town visitors looking for a meeting and members asking about A.A. activities.

Telephone volunteers from member groups handle the phones on weekends and holidays. Volunteers to help answer phones, process mailings and general staff support are always welcome during the week. The only requirement to be a telephone volunteer is one year of continuous sobriety and the willingness to serve.

For the tasks mentioned above and for many others that come along during the day, volunteers are always welcome(apply).
